Title: Sidewinder Model 44 variances
Post by: salmonfishing on September 22, 2016, 08:16:05 AM
I have two Model 44 reels (picture attached). One has the standard black frame and the other has a silver colored frame. Otherwise they are identical. Does anyone know if the silver frame is of any significance or just a variation? I have never seen this silver color of Sidewinder frame on any of the other models.
Thanks.
Chuck

That is cool! So do you think my model 44 was all silver and someone changed out the front cover and the handle cover? I will have to be on the lookout for an all silver model 22. I still wonder why that silver version?
