I am trying to add to my Johnson collection. I have come across a Cook's Premier CP reel. It is in good shape with some wear and scratches. Can anyone tell me about it's value and how rare are they?

Berkelyboy, the Cooks Premiers are an interesting reel in that they are somewhat rare, but not all that rare. (Make sense?) They can be had for as little as $10 and as much as $75, depending upon the interest at the time. They look good in a Johnson collection I think because the gold color really makes them stand out.
