If you are in this to make money then you are probably in the wrong business.
Making friends yes money not so much . I am 66 years young and collecting fishing stuff for 50 .
I always end up buying high and selling low and you have to have to sell a lot of volume to get close to making any money.
In defense of E-Bay they do a hell of a job in advertising your stuff to sell and have been around for a very long time .
You have to build a reputation in selling to get more buyers and it does take time .
On something you have a lot of pride in and vested your time polishing up and greasing then simply put a high starting bid on it and hope to get those impulse buyers to click on it . Happens all the time .......
