Is the 720 one of the reels renumbered and sold in Canada?

Gary, I think you're right about the 720 being marketed in Canada.  Great disassembled views of the two models!  I have two Graphite 710's, one of which will be on a rod next spring.  Looking forward to using it for bass on Table Rock Lake!

That is my guess. Every part is identical except for the number on the decal. I've seen a Sabra 555 once on ebay which could very well be a Sabra 545. I tried to buy it but it went for more than I was willing to pay. I posted the ebay pictures of the 555, link below.

What intrigues me is what appears to be some sort of inventory code number on the side badges in addition to the model # (sort of like the inventory numbers on Johnson reels sold and labeled as Montgomery Wards/Hawthorne on earlier Johnson models). Makes me wonder if the Johnson Company at that time worked a deal with a single retailer/distributor in Canada to sell their reels for them rather than dealing with and selling through multiple outlets. Would make sense for them cost wise selling across the border.
