Title: Johnson 730 crappie spinning reel
Post by: Beef47 on May 13, 2017, 12:59:28 PM
I just purchased a Johnson 730 crappie spinning reel with 4'9" rod with button in the handle and was wondering if anyone knew what it valued at?

Hi, Beef47!  The Johnson graphite reels from the 1980's don't usually sell for much more than $10-15, but your CP730 is pretty uncommon.  IMO, it might be worth $20-25, but that's pretty much a shot in the dark.

Hey Beef47 or maybe Ray,
These combos don't show up on eBay very often, in fact I just searched active and completed listings and none showed up. I don't think there was much demand for them when they were made. Looks like they sold them 1987-94. I saw one a couple years ago at my local bait shop for $12.00 I passed on it then and came back a week later and someone had bought it. Sorry not much info here, but I do have the schematic in fact it's posted here in the schematic section.
