So I was at a vintage tackle sale today and bought my first Johnson outfit. We always bought Zebcos as a kid but my uncle would use Century's. I'm 53 now with the first Johnson I ever bought, it is a very nice Citation 110A with a matching Johnson rod in excellent shape loaded with the old golden Stren.

Welcome to the Johnson Reel site. You'll find plenty of information about your new reel and many other Johnson reels as well. Take care not to fall down the rabbit hole, I came here two years ago seeking information to repair a Johnson Century at picked up at a yard sale, now I have more Johnson reels than my wife knows what to do with. I listed some links below related to your Citation 110A enjoy.
This link to the owners manual for your reel.

Great pick, Flint! If I could have only one reel, it'd be a Citation. Fortunately, I can have more than one.

Welcome, Flint! The Citation 110A is one of my favorites. I am in Lawrence if you ever want to talk about vintage Johnson reels (and Zebco - I grew up with them, too).
