I just recently purchased a really nice Model 40A with it's box and owner docs. Inside the reel is a plastic or nylon ring that was kind of loose. You can see it in and out of the reel in the attached pictures. On the parts list that came with the reel, this ring is not included or listed. I noticed on another 40A reel I have that it also has this ring. Does anyone have any idea what this ring's function is inside the reel?
